"Sexologist Theories of masculine, independent women being inverted men and not true women came right at the point in the ninteenth century when women began to have opportunities to live independently of men, which threatned the institution of marriage since, if women "gained all the freedoms feminists agitated for, what would attract them to marriage?"

I do not agree with the Sexologist Theories at all. Independent women are beautiful and I totally look up to women who can take care of themselves. I think nowadays being independent makes you more attracted to men and makes them want to marry you more because they know that they have a women who can take care of herself and handle anything else that may come her way. I mean don't get me wrong sometimes it is nice to have someone or something to be depenedent on but not all the time. Women who are seen as independent shouldn't be labeled as men or not marriage material. In todays society and media, Independence is something that every woman should have, no matter what race, sexual preference, or ethnicity.
